For general support, email support@getghostvault.com. Include your purchase email, order number if available, GhostVault version, and a brief description of the issue.

Before contacting support

A few details can help resolve your request faster.

For license requests Email the request file to licenses@getghostvault.com using the same email address used during checkout. Include your order number if available.
For app issues Include what you were doing, the error message if one appeared, the GhostVault version, and whether the issue repeats.
For order questions Include your order number, purchase email, product purchased, and a short explanation of the issue.
For backup issues Include whether the backup is encrypted, where the backup is stored, and which restore or backup step failed.
For update questions Include your current GhostVault version and the update package or update instructions you are using.
For display issues Include a screenshot if possible, your Windows version, and a description of what does not look or work correctly.
Privacy Reminder

Do not send inventory data by default

GhostVault is designed for private local record keeping. Support normally does not need your inventory database, backups, firearm records, photos, or documents.

  • Do not email your GhostVault database unless specifically requested
  • Do not email encrypted or unencrypted backups unless specifically requested
  • Do not email private photos or documents unless needed for support
  • Remove personal information from screenshots when possible

Update support

GhostVault does not automatically check for updates. Customers can visit the Updates page or sign up for update notices.

Current version Check the Updates page for the current GhostVault version and release notes.
Manual updates GhostVault updates are installed manually using signed update packages when available.
Update notices Use the Updates page to sign up for occasional GhostVault update notifications.
