How GhostVault updates will work

GhostVault updates are installed manually from inside the application. This keeps GhostVault offline-first and avoids background internet activity.

1. Visit Updates Page Check this page periodically or sign up for update notices below.
2. Download Update Download the signed .gvupdate file when a future update is released.
3. Open GhostVault Open GhostVault and go to Admin → Updates.
4. Validate & Install Select the downloaded update file, review validation results, and continue with installation.
Before installing any future update: Create a current GhostVault backup. Only install updates downloaded directly from getghostvault.com/updates or provided by GhostVault support.

GhostVault does not automatically check the internet for updates. Sign up below to receive occasional email notices when new GhostVault updates, release notes, product news, or important support information are available.
